Dear P.S. 64 Families,

As we move deeper into November, I find myself filled with gratitude. It is an absolute privilege to be part of this wonderful community and to have a front-row seat to watch your children grow, learn, and discover their potential every single day.

There is nothing more rewarding than celebrating your child's victories, big and small. Our students are shining everywhere—in classrooms, hallways, the recess yard, and even the pool. I am so proud to see our youngest students learning to read and our older students exploring new worlds in books. It brings me just as much joy to see improved attendance and to hear students laughing and working together. Our school is alive with the sounds of singing and dancing.

This spirit of community and celebration is what makes our upcoming Family Feast this Friday so special. I am so excited to see everyone come together to share a delicious meal and enjoy each other's company. It’s one of my favorite events of the year!

In this season of giving thanks, we have even more to be grateful for. I am thrilled to share that we have received incredibly generous donations to support our families for Thanksgiving. A huge thank you to Trinity Church and A&E Entertainment for their partnership. Their contributions, which include frozen turkeys and other Thanksgiving items, to add to your wonderful holiday feast.
